Plans

Free includes commands, Markdown notes, Native Glass, and up to 500 searchable entries. Pro is A$4.99 AUD per month and adds unlimited entries, additional entry types, themes, fonts, custom identity badges, the Plugin Engine, automations, and up to two active Macs.

Renewal and cancellation

Pro renews monthly through Square until canceled. In Sokiamo, open Settings → Plan → Cancel Subscription. Square schedules cancellation for the end of the current paid period, so Pro remains available until then and no later renewal is charged. Deactivating a Mac only releases a device seat; it does not cancel billing.

Failed payment and downgrade

Paid access is based on confirmed Square payments. A short billing-recovery grace can apply after failed renewal. When Sokiamo next connects after paid access ends, it moves to Free. If the Mac remains offline, the last valid device-bound Pro entitlement continues without an offline deadline.

Your files

Downgrade, cancellation, failed payment, or uninstall never deletes, encrypts, or rewrites your Markdown. Pro-only items remain on disk but their Pro interactions are gated while the app is on Free.

Refunds and consumer rights

Payments are not automatically refundable for a partially used billing period. This does not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law protections. For billing help, use the seller contact details on your Square receipt.

Plugins and availability

Plugins run local code you choose to install. Review and trust them carefully. The service is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability; keep backups of important files and plugin configuration.
